General info
The IP "scheme" at home is in the 10.100.100.0 network. The inside of the modem is 10.100.100.1 and is the gateway for the network. There is a page HERE with all the IP addresses and what they are assigned to. Some devices are given addresses automatically with DHCP, which they get from the server at 10.100.100.15 and named Blizz-AD
DHCP
DHCP (Dynamic host configuration protocol) is a protocol that assigns IP addresses to network devices on a LAN.
This works in a basic network like this. A network device (computer, cell phone, tablet...) Will request access to the network and request an ip address so that the router can send packets to the correct place. Think of it like a home address but in the case of DHCP the address has a "lease" time and can change or the address will be passed to another device if the old devices lease expires and is no longer on the network
